Q. I just bought a leather mini skirt which hits 3 inches above the knee (a little on the short side for my taste, but the sales person said it was still within reasonable limits). It has pleats on the waistband. The sales person said I might be more comfortable wearing it with leggings. I agree with your article and have historically been anti-leggings. What do you think of the leggings/leather combo? A. I love leather skirts. I think you should go for it. Wear very thin leggings with your boots - they're almost like tights. Your other option if very opague tights with tall boots - your legs will feel covered.
