The Healing Power Of Fish Oil

By: Kim
January 10, 2010

It's that time of year when our skin battles the cold weather and low humidity. The colder the air, the less moisture your skin is capable of holding. In addition, the dry air draws moisture from your skin. Both of these effects cause your exposed skin to become dry and itchy.

Give winter a one-two punch by using fish oil to replenish and then protect your skin cells. By taking a few pills a day, you can help retain the moisture your body needs. It can actually make your skin glow! Not to mention all of the other noted benefits of fish oil. And as always, drink at least eight glasses of water a day.

Now protect that drying skin. Fish oil can also be applied topically for instant relief. It is used to treat severe skin diseases such as eczema, psoriasis, skin lesions, and rashes. Simply break open a liquid gel capsule and rub it on severely dry skin.

Fight nature with nature and use fish oil to replenish moisture in your skin cells.
