Step By Step: Slick Back Look

By: Kristi
October 06, 2008

This trend is so simple, the step by step is in the name.

• Start with clean hair (or dirty, doesn’t really matter with this one).

• Use a leave-in conditioner and then gel (check out my essential list for your hair type and budget).

• Slick the hair back using a fine-tooth comb or brush. If your hair is shorter, this is the time to utilize some pretty bobby pins from Goody. Longer hair can do the twist or pony.

• You can use a diffuser to dry the hair and scalp on those colder days, and for unruly hair, you can do all of the above the night before and sleep in a head scarf to control your look.

Stay sleek and fierce girls!
