Shiny hair makes every woman look younger and healthier. And it is one of the best accessories you can wear with your holiday outfit. (Did I steal that from a Pantene commercial? Stolen or not, it's true!) Here are 3 simple ways to get some seriously shiny hair just in time for the holidays!
1- Mayo, mayo, and more mayo. Take one cup of real mayonnaise and comb it through your hair from root to tip. Once it's been evenly placed, take a shower cap and cover it up. You don't want to get mayo on everything! Leave it in for at least 20 minutes. Then rinse with warm water and wash it out with shampoo. If you hair tends to be dry, add some avocado. Read the full article, "Homemade Hair Conditioner" on how to do that.
2- Moroccan Oil. This amazing oil adds glimmer without weight. You can comb it in after you shampoo while your hair is wet or you can use it on dry hair for even more shine. For more on this go to "Hair That Shines."
3- Frederic Fekkai Glossing Sheer Shine Mist. No time for hair mask? This is definitely one product to have on hand. It is a glossing mist fused with pure olive oil. What is more, it doesn't weigh down your locks and it smells amazing!
With all the madness of the holidays, why not have a girl's night in to shine up your hair and skin? Check out my article on setting up an all-natural hair conditioning buffet and Kim's video on great homemade face masks!
