We don't know what it is about the Shiseido Eyelash Curler, but it is the BEST eyelash curler out there.  The design is so simple.  Yet, it does an amazing job curling the lash.  

The Shiseido Eyelash Curler is all metal with a foam insert strip where the curler crimps the lashes.

If you want to get a really dramatic curl from the Shiseido Eyelash Curler, heat it up for 5 seconds with a blow dryer.  Just be certain to test the temperature before using it.

It seems that the Shiseido and the Shu Uemera Eyelash Curler are similar in design.  So if you would rather get the Shu Uemera, we are with ya'.  So many of our makeup artists love the Shu Uemera Eyelash Curler as well.
